Town Board Accepting Letters of Interest for Vacancy:
The Town of Horicon is seeking letters of interest from Town residents interested in being appointed to a vacancy on the Town Board. The appointment will be made by the Town Board and effective through December 31, 2024. The selected individual may be placed on the November 2024 election ballot. Please send a letter detailing your interest and relevant background by 3:00pm Friday, May 31st to: Town Clerk, PO Box 90, Brant Lake, NY 12815, or via email to townclerk@horiconny.gov.
Zoning Clerk: Part-time position, 15 hours per week. Provide administrative support to the Zoning Administrator and act as secretary to the Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals. Requires organized records retention, strong written and communication skills. Duties include, but not limited to, assist with and review preliminary project applications, prepare meeting materials for the Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals, take meeting minutes, prepare office correspondence and public notices, and other related duties as required.
